This switch helps in diagnostic and troubleshooting an active FI code that the ECU has thrown. The switch allows you to enable the dealer mode on your bike, which will then provide you access to the ECU code and troubleshoot FI problems. The switch plugs directly into a port on your bike (usually located under the front seat). It has a 6 prong connection with two metal prongs already installed. This switch does not clear codes- used for troubleshooting/diagnostic only.
