Delivery Time Standard order delivery time is 3-5 business days. In some cases, items may be on back order with the manufacturer and may take longer than 3-5 business days. We make every effort to notify you in the event of a delayed shipment. Allow additional time for shipments outside of the contiguous United States.
Expedited Shipping Expedited shipping is available upon request for additional charges. Expedited shipping only applies to the shipment of your order and does not include the processing or handling time. Items not in stock will not be available for immediate order processing. Once the item is available for shipment, it will be sent out through an expedited shipping service. In the event you need your parts quickly, we recommend contacting us prior to placing your order to see if your item is in stock and the approximate processing time. Expedited shipping charges are not refundable.
Consolidated Shipments Your entire order will be shipped together when possible.
Carriers We use the following carriers to deliver our orders: USPS, Fed-EX, UPS, and DHL. Orders may be shipped through any of these carriers and we reserve the right to choose the carrier based on delivery location, delivery time, and order specifics.
Shipping Rates The rate charged for the shipping of your order is a flat fee, unless the order qualifies for the free shipping promotional offer, or if the order is oversized or overweight. The flat rate fee for orders placed on Thepartshed.com is $12.95 USD.
Spend $250 or more and get Free Shipping Offer valid for the contiguous United States only. Free shipping offer does not apply to Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, or any U.S. Territories. Size and weight restrictions apply. Oversized or overweight items will not qualify for free shipping and will be subject to additional shipping charges. We reserve the right to cancel the free shipping offer at any time.
Oversized & Overweight Items At the time your order is placed, the shipping price calculated by the system may not reflect the actual cost to ship your order. Oversized and heavy packages may be held for additional shipping charges. We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees and/or cancel the order associated with oversized or heavy items, or any other limitations. If this happens, you will be contacted via email or phone with instructions on how to proceed, along with an option to cancel your order.

Returns
Returns All returns must have a return authorization number (RA#). Do not return any merchandize without contacting us and receiving the return authorization number. The RA# must be used for all returns and must appear prominently on the outside of the return package. We do not accept returns on electrical parts, tools, or special order items under any condition. All sales on electrical parts, tools, or special orders are FINAL. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns, except for returns resulting in an error by The Part Shed. Returned items must be unused in resalable condition and complete with any applicable tags, labels, manuals, and original packaging. Returned items are to be free of dents, tears, markings of any kind, etc. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of the invoice date. All sales are final after 30 days. Any item returned to us that does not meet these requirements will be refused by us and returned to you at your expense. Be sure to send your return via an insured carrier. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items during the return shipping. Return shipping is at the sole responsibility of the buyer.
