Pricing  All prices are subject to change without notice.   The Part Shed strives to provide the most accurate pricing and product information, however typographical and other errors may occur. By visiting this site, you agree the The Part Shed beheld harmless from all responsibility and liability for any and all errors, omissions or inaccuracies in the information provided on this site. ThePartShed.com is not obligated to honor any price if the said price is incorrect or inaccurate.  If an item has been listed with incorrect price or product information, we reserve the right to cancel any and all orders for that particular product. In the event you place an order that includes a pricing error, we will contact you to notify you of the error and will inform you of the correct price.  We offer tier level pricing based on the retail value of an individual item.  The pricing posted on our website is offered for orders placed on ThePartShed.com only. Orders placed by a customer service representative by phone or other means, may not be the same price posted on our site. We also reserve the right to charge you a fee for an order placed by one of our representatives.

Order Fulfillment and Processing  We make every effort to process orders the following business day after the order is placed.  Items not in stock or on backorder will not be available for immediate shipping.  Order delivery time is 3-5 business days. There may be situations that delivery time may take longer than 3-5 days, such as when an item is on backorder with the manufacturer. We make every effort to notify you in the event of a delayed shipment.  The listing of an item on our site does not mean the item is available or in stock.  Available to Order does not mean an item is in stock. We do not provide a live in-stock status on items listed on our site.  If you have questions about the availability of an item, please contact us prior to placing your order.

Changes to Existing Orders Any changes made to an existing order will result in additional fees.  If you have to cancel your order (either partially or in its entirety) for any reason, you will be recharged a 20% restocking fee (See more info. under Cancellations). This fee will be deducted from your refund.  If you need to add items to an existing order, you will be charged an add-on order fee of $5. The add-on fee will be charged at the time of your order change request.   These fees are necessary to off-set the additional cost we incur.

Acceptance of Orders  The receipt of an order confirmation email does not constitute the acceptance of an order or confirmation of an offer to sell. We reserve the right, without prior notification, to limit the order quantity of any item, refuse an order, or cancel an order at any time. Examples that may result in the cancellation of your order include but are not limited to backorders by the manufacturer, limited quantities, inaccuracies in pricing, errors in the listing information, problems with your payment, and mismatch delivery address with payment address. Verification of order information including but not limited to name, address, and payment may be required prior to the acceptance of an order.  By placing an order with payment of a credit card, the customer gives authorization for The Part Shed to contact their financial institution to verify name and address

Backorder Items  Backorders are from the manufacturer and are beyond our control. If an item is backordered, we will notify you via e-mail or phone. Backorders are filled by the order in which they were received. We make every effort to notify you of ETAs (Estimated Time of Arrival) and backorder statuses. It is imperative you notify us of any changes to the shipping information if you have an item on backorder. Backorders are automatically shipped once the item is received in our warehouse.

Superseded Parts  It is very common for manufacturers to supersede old parts to new ones. Older parts usually supersede to new numbers in order to improve quality or fix imperfections. All superseded parts are made in accordance with the specifications of the original part.   Supersedes are equivalent in the fitment and function to the original part number and are manufactured by the original manufacturer of your equipment. These parts are not replacements or aftermarket.  Normally if a superseded part is offered, it is because the original part has been discontinued and is no longer available.  If you order a part that has been superseded, you may receive the old part or the new part, depending on availability.   If you have questions to whether or not your original part is available, please contact us.

Consolidated Shipments  Orders are held until all items are available to ship, including items not in stock or on backorder. Shipping fees are calculated as a single shipment. Split shipments at the customer’s request will require additional shipping fees to be collected.

Carriers  We use the following carriers to deliver our orders: USPS, Fed-EX, UPS, and DHL.  Orders may be shipped through any of these carriers and we reserve the right to choose the carrier based on delivery location, delivery time, and order specifics.

Standard Shipping Rates  The rate charged for the shipping of your order is a flat fee, unless the order qualifies for the free shipping promotional offer, or if the order is oversized or overweight.  The flat rate fee for orders placed on Thepartshed.com is $11.99 USD.

Shipping and Handling  Additional shipping and handling policies are posted separately on our website.  Your use of this site constitutes acceptance of our shipping policies and other policies stated.

Oversized & Overweight Items  At the time your order is placed, the shipping price calculated by the system may not reflect the actual cost to ship your order.  Oversized and heavy packages may be held for additional shipping charges.  We reserve the right to charge additional shipping fees and/or cancel the order associated with oversized or heavy items, or any other limitations. If this happens, you will be contacted via email or phone with instructions on how to proceed, along with an option to cancel your order.

Shipment Tracking  If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order in the My Account section under your User Account. Please note that some orders using First Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers. If you think your package has been lost in transit, call customer service. We cannot file a claim on a package prior to expected delivery, or later than 90 days after expected delivery.

Refusal of Packages  If you refuse a package, you will be responsible for the original delivery charges and be charged the fee to ship the package back to us as well as any fees charged to us.

Orders Shipped to Hotels  If you requested delivery to a hotel and the front desk refuses the package for any reason, you will be responsible for the original delivery charges as well as any charges required to reship the package.

International Shipping  International orders must be pre-paid in U.S. dollars. When placing an order, please include your exact shipping address with your country & city code. Polaris, Can-am, Ski-Doo, and Sea-Doo products can only be sold and shipped to US addresses. Duty, customs, tariffs and VAT are set by each country and determined based on a combination of the country of origin or manufacturing of the goods being purchased, the listed value of the contents, and the classification the merchandise. The amount of applicable duty, tariffs, taxes and VAT will vary by country. For specific amounts you will want to contact your local postal or customs agent/office. The Part Shed does not pay VAT or Duties on any order, the purchaser is responsible for the duties of their orders. For products sent internationally, please take note that any manufacturer warranty may not be applicable; manufacturer repair options may not be accessible; product manuals, instructions and safety warnings may not be in your country's language; the merchandise may not be made in agreement with your country's standards, specifications, and labeling requirements; and the merchandise may not obey the guidelines to your country's voltage and other electrical standards. You are accountable for declaring that the merchandise can be lawfully imported to your country. When ordering from The Part Shed, the recipient is responsible and must conform to all laws and regulations of that country.

Delays in Shipping  We make every effort to get your order shipped as fast as possible. However, delays in delivery due to "Acts of Nature" or mechanical issues will not be reimbursed.

Lost Packages  On rare occasions, due to no fault on our part, a package may be lost in transit by the postal carrier. In such an instance, we will reship your order after a reasonable time has elapsed, but will require that you contact us for further instructions.

Fraud  Fraudulently reporting that a package was not received or any other scheme intended to obtain money or property under fraudulent pretenses is a federal crime and will be reported to the appropriate law enforcement agency.

Holiday Shipping Schedule  We are open on most holidays and will still process orders. However, if the shipping carriers or manufacturers are closed for a holiday, we will not be able to ship or receive orders on those days. Federal US Holidays are as follows: Martin Luther King Day (January 21st), Presidents' Day (3rd Monday in February), Memorial Day (Last Monday in May), Independence Day (4th of July), Labor Day (1st Monday in September), Columbus Day (2nd Monday in October), Veteran's Day (November 11th), Thanksgiving (3rd Thursday in November), Christmas Day (December 25th), and New Year's Day (January 1st).

Sales Tax  Applicable sales tax is charged on instate orders if required by law.

Payment  We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover, or PayPal for payment. Card orders must be shipped to the billing address of the credit card being used, unless otherwise approved by The Part Shed. The Part Shed offers no credit terms. Under certain conditions, we may accept checks from Dealers who have an established relationship with us. Dealers presenting a bad check will be placed on a Prepayment Only Status until the problem has cleared.  All Florida dealers must furnish The Part Shed with a completed Florida State Resale Card or the appropriate sales tax will be charged. All C.O.D. orders are subject to current USPS, UPS, or DHL pricing charges per box shipped. These charges are in addition to the normal shipping charges.

Returns  All returns must have a return authorization number (RA#) no exceptions. Do not return any merchandize without contacting us and receiving the return authorization number.  The RA# must be used for all returns and must appear prominently on the outside of the return package. We do not accept returns on electrical parts, tools, closeout, discontinued, vintage, or special order items under any condition. All sales on electrical parts, tools, or special orders are FINAL. A 20% restocking fee will apply to all returns, except for returns resulting in an error by The Part Shed.  Returned items must be unused in resalable condition and complete with any applicable tags, labels, manuals, and original packaging. Returned items are to be free of dents, tears markings of any kind, etc. Returns are only accepted within 30 days of the invoice date. All sales are final after 30 days.  Any item returned to us that does not meet these requirements will be refused by us and returned to you at your expense.  Be sure to send your return via an insured carrier.  We are not responsible for lost or damaged items during the return shipping. Shipping cost you paid for your order are non-refundable. If you qualified for the free shipping offer and returned an item, if the net order amount is less than $250 after the returned item(s) is deducted, we will subtract the costs we incurred to ship your order from the refund amount. Therefore, in the event of a return, you will be charged a 20% stocking fee along with any applicable shipping fees.

Cancellations We begin processing orders within 24 hours of when the order was placed. Therefore, most orders cannot be cancelled. If you need to cancel your order, please contact us immediately and we will do our best to assist you. All order cancellations are subject to a 20% restocking fee. Electrical, Body Parts, Painted Parts, Closeout, discontinued, vintage, and special order items are sold "as-is" and are not cancelable, returnable or exchangeable. 

Exchanges We will exchange parts only if: The parts were damaged during manufacturing, damaged during shipping (must file a claim with shipping company/carrier), or the part is defective and not due to the customers negligence. You will not be subject to a restocking fee in this case, but you will still be responsible for the return shipping.

Limitation of Liability  UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES SHALL THEPARTSHED.COM, ITS LICENSORS, OR ITS AFFILIATES BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, OR EXEMPLARY DAMAGES THAT RESULT FROM THE USE OF, OR INABILITY TO USE, OR PERFORMANCE OF THE INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, SERVICES, MATERIALS AVAILABLE FROM THIS SITE. INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, DAMAGES FOR LOSS OF PROFITS, GOODWILL, USE, DATA, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSS. THIS LIMITATION APPLIES WHETHER THE ALLEGED LIABILITY IS BASED ON CONTRACT, NEGLIGENCE, STRICT LIABILITY, OR ANY OTHER BASIS, EVEN IF THEPARTSHED.COM, HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGE, AND INCLUDES LOSS RESULTING FROM (i) THE COST OF PROCUREMENT OF SUBSTITUTE GOODS OR SERVICES RESULTING FROM ANY GOODS, DATA, INFORMATION, OR SERVICES PURCHASED, OBTAINED, OR TRANSFERRED OR SOUGHT TO BE PURCHASED, OBTAINED OR TRANSFERRED THROUGH OR FROM THEPARTSHED; (ii) UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS TO OR ALTERATION OF YOUR TRANSMISSIONS OR DATA; (iii) STATEMENTS OR CONDUCT OF ANY THIRD PARTY ON THE SITE; OR (iv) ANY OTHER MATTER RELATING TO THE SITE OR SERVICE PROVIDED BY THEPARTSHED.COM. THEPARTSHED.COM SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY FAILURE TO PERFORM UNDER THESE TERMS OF USE WHERE SUCH FAILURE RESULTS FROM ANY CAUSE BEYOND THEPARTSHED.COM'S REASONABLE CONTROL, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO MECHANICAL, ELECTRONIC, OR COMMUNICATIONS FAILURE OR DEGRADATION. BECAUSE SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE LIMITATION OF INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, THEPARTSHED.COM’s LIABILITY IN SUCH JURISDICTIONS SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT PERMITTED BY LAW.

Disclaimer of Warranties  ThePartShed.com does not offer warranties, expressed or implied, other than what is offered by the manufacturers. Except for these limited warranties provided directly from manufacturers, the site as a whole is provided "as is" and "as available." THEPARTSHED.COM EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
